In cooperation with the Department of Chinese History and the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at the Faculty of East Asian Studies, Ruhr University Bochum, the Research Training Group GRK 2833 “East Asian Futures” will host a lecture by Dr. Heinrich GEIGER. The lecture is titled “Suchbewegungen. Überlegungen zum Schönen in der Zeit” and will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, 4:15 PM in the seminar room GB 04/59 on the RUB campus. Dr. Heinrich GEIGER, born in 1954, studied Sinology, Philosophy, Chinese Art and Archaeology and worked in the field of educational cooperation in development policy. He has published numerous studies on questions of aesthetics, art, philosophy, cultural studies and educational collaboration. He now lives and works as a freelance artist, author and lecturer.
