The inaugural event of the Research Training Group GRK 2833 “East Asian Futures: Visions and Realizations on National, Transregional and Global Scales” will take place on October 9, 2023.

For the kick-off, the historian Professor Dr. Rüdiger GRAF from the Leibniz Centre for Contemporary History Potsdam and the sociologist Dr. Lisa SUCKERT from the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies Cologne will outline the challenges of this approach respectively from a historical and a social science perspective and discuss them with the audience.
